A team led by our Chief Executive Officer, Kassim Haji Abdinoor, and Board Chairman, Bare Ali, together with the Elwasco team, successfully held a site meeting with the contractor for the Falama Water Supply project to emphasize the progress of the work. They then proceeded to different sites of the project for inspection to monitor the progress of the work done so far. Afterward, the team successfully launched the start of the project.
Later in the day, the Mandwasco CEO held a meeting with elders and youth to discuss the following:
– Solarization of the Falama water generation plant.
– Construction of an elevated water tank at Elagarsu to improve the efficiency of soft water supply.
– Installation of a 15.9 km appropriate piping system within Elwak town and its peripheral bullas.
There are numerous other projects in progress aimed at providing abundant water supply.
